Welcome to Mrs. Emard's Classroom Website!
Tutorials
Students are always welcome to attend my tutorials to receive help or to discuss any class-related concerns. Tutorials are assigned when a student is missing assignments or failing the course. Tutorial times are as follows:
Wednesday: B Lunch
Friday: A Lunch
Absentee Policy
Absent students can reference what was completed in class through the "American II" or "Holocaust and Genocide" sections of this website. If you're absent from class, you can refer to the weekly agenda below to learn what topics and assignments you may have missed. You are responsible for meeting with me when you return to school to pick up necessary hand outs or assignments. You can always refer to a friend to copy notes from or you can attend my tutorial to make up notes.
Academic Integrity
All students are expected to show integrity in their academic work. Students should not engage in cheating, plagiarism, falsification of work, or other activities outlined in WCPSS Board Policy 6445 and/or teacher directions for assignments and classroom activities. Student behaviors in violation of this policy will be addressed through appropriate discipline as outlined by the student code of conduct.
Grading Scale
Grades issued by HSHS are recorded as a letter. Letter grades are determined by the following scale.
A = 90 – 100
B = 80 – 89
C = 70 – 79
D = 60 – 69
